zibblsnrt got me back into earthquakes, by asking if there's ever been a nine quake before. I looked up info on the Anchorage quake of 1964, which lead to me investigating my home state. And gah there's a lot of dots for earthquake activity on the map of California.
I discovered they updated the Redding Turkey Day Quake of '98 to a 5.4. That was really cool. it didn't seem like much, but I can now say I've ridden out a 5.4 quake.
And I'm bound and determinded to prove to Zibb that he's not in a totally seismically clean area.
