o/~ Bored, bored, bored, bored o/~

Yes, I'm bored in my microsoft class. How could you tell? Highlighting in my book, listening to Lew read to us...yeah, it's boring...*yawn*

So far, my classes look to be fairly easy. That's good, because I still have to make it to Java. I think Java will be my hardest subject this semester (Dammit, Jim, I'm a historian and a sysadmin, not a programmer!) so it's nice not having much else that I really need to worry about. Except maybe Cisco.

I'm pondering going for my CCNP. Why? I think I like network administration better than systems administration, especially if I'm going to have to administer a Microsoft computer. Although...win2k is starting to grow on me. *shudder*

Lastly, I think I'm going to unlurk, derafter, and say hey in alt.callahans...they seem to be friendly folk. I'd show up and say hey on the IRC channel too...but I know that is prolly not a good idea. At least, not now. Waiting is...

I think I'll pay attention now.

where does the expression "the whole nine yards" come from?

Darn me for having a writer's ear...

my math teacher forgot to mail in her recommendation for me. Even though I reminded her and everything. *sigh* I swear, sometimes I feel there's a conspiracy keeping me stuck in this town...

Anybody got any leads on getting me out of this damn town before I wither and atrophy here?

(oh yeah, got a couple other entries on my Palm...they'll be up as soon as I get home. I'm not there yet.)

My main blog is kept at retstak.org. I mirror posts to this Dreamwidth account, so feel free to read and comment either here or there.
