I don't *have* a passport. You can remind me to pack my birth certificate and photo ID, though, that's all I need to travel to Canada, according to both US State and the Maple Leaf Consulate in Los Angeles.

And remind me to pack Patrick's gift.

Heh. It seems we may have actually talked Patrick's folks into actually letting me stay there. But it'll be nice as a reserve if his folks suddenly decide they don't want me after all. :)

Going to be so close to me for almost an hour. ;)

I live in NW Ohio, but that's about a 3.5-4 hour drive from here.

When we went to Toronto last summer, we didn't even need the birth certificate. But things have changed a little since then. :P

well, considering the base ticket was ~$350...I'm not complaining (Yeah, with taxes and travelers insurance, it ended up being about $470, but if anything really disasterous happens while I'm in Canada, there's insurance to med-evac me back to California.)

And so I can deal with a few hops. Besides, I can legitimately add Kentucky and Massachutsetts as states I've been in...(been in Utah before, so Salt Lake isn't as great of a destination...) :)

Well...I don't know if you flew to Toronto or just crossed the border by car. I think rules are a bit tighter when you fly in, because the nice customs agents have to do something. ;)

Nope, never been east of Wyoming.

But it looks like Cincy's airport is in Northern Kentucky, so I'll be in Kentucky, not Ohio... :)
