*giggle* this ought to be interesting!

Zibb, phen, Proph, yusion...you guys are the Canadians, see if you can beat the American. ;)

I AM CANADIAN

I am 61% CANADIAN!!!

They'd better. :) Although I have this feeling that they're also gonna be laughing because they've converted us so well, before we ever set foot on Canadian soil, no less. ;)

[identity profile] fearghaill.livejournal.com 2002-02-26 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
oh, definately there Cairsten, definately. I mean, we even had kat cheering for *our* mens hockey team. You're both canadians at heart, you don't live here yet.

[identity profile] katster.livejournal.com 2002-02-26 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
Dammit, I was rooting for the Americans. I just was happy you guys won, but I would have been happy had the Americans won. But you can ask Zibb, who was talking to me while I was watching some of it. I used the term 'you' when talking to Zibb about the Canadian team, and 'we' when talking about the American team, so *no*, I wasn't rooting for the the Canadians. :P

-kat, who isn't quite there yet. Besides you guys cheated, burying a twonie at center ice... ;)

[identity profile] phenyx.livejournal.com 2002-02-25 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
89%... but honestly, the 'canadian' answers on that test were soooo obvious.

does it look nearly so obvious if you're not canadian?

Yes, and I would have scored higher had I not attempted to answer honestly instead of simply giving the Canadian answer. ;)

[identity profile] katster.livejournal.com 2002-02-26 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, same thing here. i could have prolly pulled pretty close if I'd not been honest...which, in all honesty, should make you guys be cheering that you've managed to convert us so thoroughly. Even me to the point of spelling with superfluous u's. :P

-kat, "not zed, zee dammit."

Well, I already used the u's (which aren't superfluous, dangit..) but, yes, I'm almost tempted now to go back and see just how high I could've scored if I hadn't been honest.

further to that...

[identity profile] phenyx.livejournal.com 2002-02-25 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm contemplating coming up with a real Canadian quiz, one that's a little more subtle. That one was half stereotypes, anyway. ;P

Re: further to that...

[identity profile] katster.livejournal.com 2002-02-26 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'll take it; go for it.

I think Cal's even got a domain just for LJ quizzen. Not that he's used it, though... %)

-kat, the quiz junkie.

44%

I suppose I don't like Beer and Hockey enough.

I AM CANADIAN

I am 83% CANADIAN!!!

And I'm just a Michigander. Well, same difference I guess...

And no that didn't seem just stereotypical to me. Those answers were simply the RIGHT answers, and that's all there is to it... then again I can sing "O' Canada" in both English and French (and I don't speak French) and I know many Canadians who can't do that so...

Wait wait, wait... Does my eccentricity push my score over the edge from Michigander to Canadian, on past into "Maritimer"? ;-)

*chuckle*

I got 72%, and live south of you (in Ohio). :)

Actually I currently reside in Ohio myself.

It's just you can take a schmuck out of MI, but you can't take the MI out of a schmuck. ;-)

well, zibby got the same as you and you scored higher than Proph. Still, the standard here is set by an Albertan in Ontario, so... ;)

-kat, is...that the proper name for people from Alberta?

[identity profile] primis.livejournal.com 2002-02-26 08:01 am (UTC)(link)

I also scored higher than a life-long Winnipegger. :-( :-)

I got 78%.

"The Beaver is a proud and nobel animal" ... "cute" yay!

Quite strange, innit?
